The ElectraBrite™ is installed between the lamps and the timer switch. It is designed to supply full power to the lamps for 15 minutes to allow the lamps to warm up and achieve full brightness. Once installed, operation is completely automatic and requires no outside intervention of any type. The savings begin almost immediately. The ElectraBrite also reduces harmonics caused by lighting ballasts. Heavy terminal blocks are provided for the line, load, and neutral connections.
The ElectraBrite then automatically reduces power supplied to the lamps, saving energy and extending lamp and ballast life. The dramatic reduction of energy usage also means less electric utility power generation and less greenhouse gases.
